How we got started
As a manager in a call center for Cingular Wireless I had a certain amount of personal time off that I could take and one day I decided to do just that. I woke up early that day as I usually did. While flipping the channels I came across the Ag Report. That kind of thing has always interested me so I began to watch.
As I watched the report something caught my attention, a mushroom business. That sounds different, I said to myself. I was so interested that after watching the report I located the couple and went to Virginia to spend a day with them. Returning from my visit with Dave and Dee, I knew that it was something I wanted to do. It wasnt long before I had quit my job and began my adventure growing and selling oyster mushrooms.
This is how it all started for me.
